Rules posted

Postby hippylady7211 on Tue Jul 10, 2007 6:59 pm

1)You know for a long time I have heard complaints about certain people being Bossy or Bitchy when they point out a "rule" that has been discussed in past meetings.

As we have so many users of Bark Park and some of us are unable to get to meetings, it would be, I think, necessary to have the "rules" or the top 10 rules made up on a sign and posted in both sides of bark park.

This would allow all of us to back up the officers of bark park as we all would be aware of the rules and not be pointing fingers at those who are trying to uphold the rules.

To be quite honest I don't know a lot of the "rules" didn't know the one about humping. Have been told that the dogs can't dig in the park.

Maybe if we are aware of the rules we can uphold the rules better.

2) There have been several times that the small dog park has been taken over by kids playing and the dogs not getting to play. Several times I have seen dogs playing and 3 or 4 kids will come in and start throwing the ball to each other then the dogs stop playing. If kids want to play football or throw a softball or frizbee around they need to do it outside the fenced in area.

Thanks
